 The town looked a real picture this year, praise from visitors has abounded. The Britain in Bloom judges came in July, they inspected all of the areas in the borough and went away to deliberate. We won a Gold medal in South East in Bloom. The businesses that supported Guildford in Bloom were brilliant but there were many who did not participate, and it only costs £44.70 for each wonderful basket! (£44.70 for one hanging basket, 2 baskets on a post £89.40 and troughs on railings £76.26 all exc. VAT). Why not put a small amount in the budget for next year and make our town centre look even more "blooming beautiful".
