Adjoining the High Street are Guildford’s hidden side streets – all waiting to be discovered and explored.  Featuring many more places to eat and drink, there are also unusual independent as well as regional stores and businesses to be found here - such as glass and home furnishings, hat shops, niche sports experts and clothing producers, flower stores, hair styling, technologies, modern and classic jewellery and family run cafés, pubs and bars.  Some stores and restaurants spill out on to the pavements during the warm summer months and others offer tempting retreats with cosy open fires or soothing modern interiors for the colder times.

Shop Mobility

The Guildford Shop Mobility Scheme provides manual and powered wheelchairs and scooters for people who have difficulty walking around Guildford Town Centre.  You do not have to be registered disabled to use the scheme. Call 01483 453993.  Shop Mobility operates from Level 3 of the Bedford Road Car Park in Guildford.
